TRAINING ONLY. These original schematic examples are not structural design, fabrication drawings, procurement instructions, or release authorization. No real client project or completed job is represented.

START HERE
1. Read practice-drawings-rev-a.pdf and practice-drawings-rev-b.pdf. Each contains S101 and S201. Do not scale the diagrams.
2. In https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/drawing-compare/ select A as reference and B as revision. Compare page 1, then page 2.
3. In https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/drawing-search/ select both PDFs and search B12. PDFs are selected locally; they are not contained in project JSON.
4. In https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/project-dashboard/ choose Import project package, select practice-project.json, and confirm. This creates a new copy and preserves existing projects. Import may select the new copy as active.
5. Open a saved takeoff from the dashboard, then explicitly choose Load linked project snapshot. Export any existing tool inputs before approving replacement.
6. Review the drawing register and the open B12 RFI. Build a handoff with one selected takeoff, the register, and RFI. Preserve the unresolved hold.

FILES
practice-project.json: complete project package; use Project Dashboard, not the workspace-only importer.
material-takeoff-rev-a.json / material-takeoff-rev-b.json: direct Material Takeoff imports. That tool asks before replacing a nonempty list.
material-rev-a.csv / material-rev-b.csv: spreadsheet reading and independent arithmetic. Material Takeoff imports JSON, not CSV.
drawing-register.csv: optional Drawing Register CSV import. Do not import it again into the already populated practice register; duplicate sheet/revision pairs are rejected.
expected-results.json: machine-readable counts and nominal weights.
answer-sheet.txt: comparison reasoning and the unresolved question.

Nominal AISC v16 section weights are used. No material grades, prices, cutting kerf, welds, bolts, connection plates, waste allowances, or engineering capacities are assigned. The material total is not a complete assembly weight.

You may copy and adapt these fictional training files for learning and internal demonstrations. Keep the training-only notice with the drawings. The underlying AISC reference data retains its source attribution at https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/steel-tools/.
