# My Steel Learning Library

Save steel learning paths, articles, and video guides. Mark your progress, return to unfinished lessons, and export a local copy of your learning library.

Use “Save for later” and “Mark complete” on learning paths, articles, and video pages. Progress is your own record, not a certification or an automatic measure of video viewing.

Import library

This library is saved only in this browser. Export a backup to move it to another device. Import merges entries; completed or bookmarked items remain marked. No account or cloud sync is used.

## Choose something to learn

### Learning paths

Follow connected explanations of shapes, connections, fabrication, and controlled project information.

[Explore the learning hub](https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/learning-hub/)

### Technical field guides

Read practical drawing and coordination guides, then save the ones relevant to your work.

### Videos and transcripts

Watch field guides or read their searchable transcripts and primary references.

## Turn saved links into a manageable learning list

The library keeps a personal list of site learning paths, articles, and video pages. Use it to decide what to read next and to return to material you want to revisit; completion is a mark you set yourself.

### Build a small, relevant list

- Open a learning path, article, or video page and choose Save for later. The link and title are added to this browser's library.

- Return here and select Saved, not completed to see unfinished bookmarked items. Search narrows the list by saved title, rather than searching the contents of every article.

- After reviewing an item, mark it complete. You can mark it unfinished again or remove it from the library when you no longer need the entry.

### Example: prepare for a drawing-review task

Save the [drawing-reading guide](https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/blog/how-to-read-structural-steel-drawings/), a [shape-properties learning path](https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/learning-hub/steel-shapes-and-properties/), and the [revision-cloud review lesson](https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/videos/revision-clouds-not-complete-change-check/). Read one, mark it complete, and return to the unfinished filter to find the next. Keep a bookmark on a completed item if it remains a useful reference.

### Move the record without losing your progress

Export the library before changing devices or clearing website data, then import that JSON file in the destination browser. Import merges matching page entries. If either copy marks an item complete or bookmarked, that state is retained. To intentionally reset an imported completion, use Mark unfinished after importing.

An empty filtered list may simply mean that no entries match the current filter or title search. Switch back to all saved and completed items before assuming your records are missing. If the page reports unavailable storage, export the current library before closing the tab.

These entries store links and progress, not copies of articles or videos. An [offline tools download](https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/offline/) does not download every bookmarked lesson. Use the [public site search](https://www.quantumsteeldesign.com/search/) to find new material beyond your saved titles.
