By using quantumsteeldesign.com, Quantum Steel PDF Rescue, or the downloadable reference files, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or tools.

Informational and recovery tools

The steel-shape pages, profile DXFs, calculators, PDF conversion tools, examples, and articles are provided for reference and workflow assistance. PDF conversion is inherently approximate because a PDF may omit CAD semantics, true dimensions, layers, fonts, scale, and source-model information.

You are responsible for reviewing every output against reliable source information. Do not use an automatically generated DXF, extracted dimension, profile, or property as the sole basis for engineering, detailing, purchasing, fabrication, erection, or safety-critical decisions.

No professional engineering advice

Public website content and software output do not create an engineer-client, architect-client, contractor-client, or detailing-services relationship and are not stamped engineering advice. A separate written agreement is required for paid services from Quantum Steel Design.

Your files and lawful use

You retain responsibility for the files you process. Only convert, download, or use material you own or are authorized to handle. Do not use the site to violate intellectual-property rights, confidentiality duties, law, or the security and availability of this site or another system.

Availability and warranties

The site and free tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Features, file formats, downloads, limits, and availability may change or be discontinued.

Limitation of responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Quantum Steel Design LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or free tools. This does not limit responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Steel reference license, site content, and third parties

Subject to these terms, Quantum Steel Design grants site visitors a limited, nonexclusive, revocable license to access and use the steel-shape reference pages and Quantum Steel Design-generated exports for internal reference, education, estimating, detailing, and project work. This does not grant permission to reproduce, sell, or redistribute the reference database as a standalone or competing dataset.

Unless identified otherwise, the site design, written content, branding, and original software are owned by Quantum Steel Design LLC. Third-party names, data, standards, software, and trademarks—including AISC source data and marks—belong to their respective owners and remain subject to their owners' terms. Links to external sites are provided for convenience and do not make Quantum Steel Design responsible for their content or practices.
